TheatreOne’s Emerging Voices presents the final of three original scripts on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:30pm. Creative Criticism by Michael Poirier will be presented as a dramatic reading at Harbour City Theatre; admission is by $10 donation.
Sometimes it takes an unexpected connection to make a person come out of self-created isolation. John Sarokowski is a sessional teacher at a university where he teaches creative writing. He has several plays of his own floating about and jurors’ plays for competitions. He also freelances as a dramaturge and a director. John has had a rough ride in life, but he creates most of his own problems; mainly by having a rather arrogant attitude. When a young, budding playwright hires him to critique a play he has written, and a bond of healing and awakening forms between them.
Emerging Voices is sponsored by Williamson and Associates Professional Surveyors.
